Deena Nicole Cortese became popular when she started making appearances on the MTV hit series ‘Jersey Shore,’ thanks to best friend Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi. Deena had actually auditioned for the reality show’s first season, but didn’t make the cut. However, when the show was looking for a new cast member for Season 3, seasoned Jersey Shore girl Snooks suggested her fellow meatball join the cast. (Yes, they refer to themselves as meatballs and yes, they are BFF goals)
One year after joining the show, Deena met love of her life Chris Buckner through mutual friends in 2011. The lovebirds started dating and instantly felt sparks. Not too long after, they were tied at the hip, in which they bought a house and dog together in California, where they are currently living out the rest of their happily married lives.
