Dubai Bling, Netflix’s hit show which follows the lavish life of Dubai millionaires, was set to release season 2 this month, however, the release date has reportedly been postponed due to recent global events.

The first series was released on Netflix at the end of 2022 and shot to global success, reaching the top 10 list in 47 countries around the world.

Netflix postpones Dubai Bling season 2

On November 10th, streaming giant Netflix reportedly postponed the release of Dubai Bling series 2, due to recent global events, Cosmopolitan Middle East reports.

The streaming service first announced the hit show would be renewed in February, and fans were over the moon that the global phenomenon would be back on screens.

In October, an elusive, but gripping trailer was released, showing all our fave main characters. At the end, Lojain Omran can be heard saying in Arabic: “It’s good to be back.”

A release date has not yet been announced by Netflix, although it looks like it’s all been filmed and ready to go. Initially, reports said the show would be on the streaming platform on November 14, but it’s still not on the site.

GRV Media has approached Netflix for comment.

At the end of season 1, we saw Safa announce she was pregnant, with her second child. Since filming ended, she announced the birth of her baby girl, Ayana, on Instagram, which we’re sure will be played out in the new season.

Another huge life event came for Ebraheem Al Samadi, who got married in March this year. The wedding took place in Abu Dhabi and was attended by many of his cast members. Of course, it was luxurious, so we’re hoping we can have a sneak peek inside this season.

It looks like most of the upcoming drama has been kept under wraps, so we’ll have to wait and see what goes down. Although, if last season is anything to go by, we won’t be short on it.
